I think in hospital, once you exit and get AC position, promotion to senior consultant is inevitable by virtue of time. (Meaning they day you retire confirm will have SC, but high perfomers can get faster of course)

I am not sure what is the natural progression of mmeder in ops? (Meaning does one stay as a FP till they retire if they choose not to pursue fellow), and if one get fellowship, does that gaurantee consultant and senior consultant position then?

is it how come some places the guy coming to 50-60 still consultant ah?

what's the promotion criteria to SC?

Seeing all these thread posts is hilarious.

I am working less than 40 hours a week as a GP ST3 trainee in Wales.

Doing aesthetics locum on the side.

Making around £6000/month post tax.

Will apply to work in AUS next year

Only £6000/month?

So little. And still 40 hours!

But you only trainee. So I guess thats not bad.

Thing with Singapore and Singaporeans, they are the richest
In the world living in worlds most expensive city
So they earn the most. And they wont believe you if you said
You made 500k a year working 24 hours a week as a dr.

New to the scene here, just curious, but what's the average income of someone opening a private GP in Singapore?
