Tbh as a yllsom grad myself i feel doc are reasonably compensated.
You see at A levels we arent the best.
The best alr got the president scholarships.

Or go overseas and start their own startup.

The calibre of yllsom is at most 2nd rate.
Yes 4H2 As, H3s distinction but really thats all.

So the pay is commensurate to the intellect.

The goal is to keep doctors working for as long as they can. Get the most mileage out of every dr. Hence the pay structure is also designed for this purpose. Most doctors will have to work till they are very old. Medicine is not a get rick quick retire early type path. Makes sense. Why would we train drs for 20 years and have them work another 5 to 10 years and earn so much they can retire?

Depends on your lifestyle. I am pretty sure that doctors can achieve FIRE if they want. They earn a lot more than the general population anyway.

I never understood why don't moh/public hospitals just publish the pay that doctors of different levels get (mo/reg/RP/AC etc). It saves all the speculation.
And it's the same for everyone anyway (so nothing to hide)
- likes all ho who grad to mo will get the same pay
- all reg who turn ac will get the same pay (regardless of your previous performance or how many publications you have...)

If they publish, then the nurses will complain. How come nurse work so hard but get only 60-75% that of doc.

If they publish, then nobody will queue up for yllsom, lkcsom, and dukenus.
The school fees are about 28k-40k per year.

So only stupid adminstrators will publish, and our adminstrators arent stupid

If you have to ask means you cant afford it.

So actually most docs have good background, so they dont need to rely on the salary for a living. They have inherited wealth.
And to them it is just passion, community service, nv abt the pay. Think justices of peace, volunteers, along those lines

I also keen to know. What’s the difference between the two.
Can guys (law guys and medicine guys) share their confessions here.
By right law girls tend to be more argumentative and less compassionate.
