TS needs to be realistic. Some jobs need a lot of communication and some needs less. There are some jobs that can minimize talking to other people, but they are very freelance base on assignment like tuition, programming, crafting, uber driver etc.

Even back office require to work with internal/external customers/colleagues, attend staff meeting, deal with the boss etc. Companies do not put perm staff on payroll expecting the person to stay in his own world do his own task unless it is very simple manual labour.

There are many types of introverts. May I suggest you do a Myers-Briggs test and find out what your type is? It would really help you to understand what kind of a job is suited for you.

MBTI waste time one, anyway it has been discredited in academia. Only those consultants in private sector are pushing this to try and milk whatever money left.

Same situation

I am wondering about this also. Even my friend calls me unrealistic but hey, I dun just want to survive, do something I dun like or can't stand just to earn money. I'm not looking for a perfect job, just one that I am comfortable with. Why can't employers understand 'introverts' more? I can't speak for all but I like being alone, I don't mind working in teams if needed, I don't mind talking and giving presentations. But! I prefer being alone and I can get the job done. I just don't want to lie in interview saying how I am a natural team player, born leader. I can do all, school have prepared us more then enough but! I prefer to be alone. Of cos I understand what ppl want, what the bosses want, but I just hope ppl understand us more. We can work in groups, we just prefer being alone and we still get the job done. I don't speak for all the so called 'introverts', at least that is how I feel.

Just bare with it and survive. No point bitching about it, the world does not care about what what you prefer. You work to make $$$ to survive, it is not the employer's job to make you feel good.

I understand this point. But I don't agree to 'you work to make $$$ to survive'. That is what I want to avoid. I rather earn less in a comfortable environment. Of cos employers don't need to make me feel good, they have so many options. I just hope that ppl can see introverts and extroverts as equal. Like someone say, half are introverts and I assume a lot of the 'introverts' need to act as a 'natural team player, born leader', say what the employers want to listen, get that job and survive. That is not what I want. I understand it's hard but I'll keep looking and hope someone accept me as I am. I am confident I can do a job well but I want to be accepted as I am, not a fake personality just to get the job. I won't go for jobs like sales or what that need lots of interactions but even with a backend job that doesn't need a lot of interaction, bosses tend to prefer an extrovert who talks well and what not. No? Correct me if I'm wrong. Of cos, probably till the end of the year, if I still can't get any job, I will turn into the natural team player, born leader.

Nobody cares whether you agree or your extrovert introvert theory. 2 options for you:

1. Take up job like security or taxi driver and accept the low & unstable pay.
2. Work, learn to adapt & quit whining.
