What happened to the committee to review training contracts situation as announced back in 2016?

Is there a glut still? From what I know the peak of the glut was from 2014-2017. It should improve a lot from this year with the delisting.
All my friends are able to easily secure a TC. Same for Associate positions. Taper your expectations on salary - 3.5k to 4k for mid size is fine.

I don’t think the situation will get better.
Those who failed to get TC / called to bar will now try to re enter again.

This adds to the glut only.

Oh but I have a representative pool of friends (local and non-local (including delisted)) and none of them have any problem with securing a TC/Associate role

So easy to get jobs as lawyers these days. One simply needs a degree from a degree mill like Kings

Yeah, i think it's really a matter of which firm and pay expectation. Need to adjust mindset accordingly and it should be fine provided you keep applying? Lol. Speaking from own experience.

Don’t understand why people are comparing which university is better when there are two accredited global ranking lists - QS and THE world rankings. Degree mill or not please check the rankings and you will know.
