Which company have highest salary?

hi guys,

I am new to this forum.
I am in my final year now applying for some jobs.
Below are companies that I applied for:
1, British American Tabacco
2,Uliver
3, Aviva
4, DBS
5, Singtel

To be honest I am more caring about the pay haha.
Anyone can give me rough estimation salary bonus of these companies?
Thanks!

get a few offers first then talk. u really think u gonna get all 5 offers? can get 1 already lucky esp bat & unilever.

if pay is all u want then go for investment banking, they are the ones that can pay a few years bonus.

Thanks for the reply! :-)
I was summer intern at investment bank and I found that it's almost
impossible to enter front desk with an Engineering Degree.
Plus: even if you go into investment, it could kill you as you have no sleep everyday.
My goal is to find a job whose starting pay is around 4K SGD and with a good future.

May I know more about the pay at BAT as well as Uliever as you mentioned just now?

Thanks with best regards

Here's what I know for Director level positions:

Bank IT Director: $20K (me)
BAT Marketing Director $20K (my relative)
Unilever Marketing Director: $20K (from colleague who moved to a similar MNC)
SingTel Director: $15K (from colleague who moved there)

if u really able to get a summer internship in investment banking, why downgrade so much to apply for aviva, dbs or singtel? seem to be totally below your league. doesnt make sense even if u dun wanna join ib.

thanks for the info director! :-)
anyway I was intern at an US Investment Bank who
was not good enough to get return offer...
anyway I think even an Executive Director at Invesment Bank
earn about 20K per mth.
So may I guess that BAT and Unliver has great pay equal to
Investment Banks?

One key requirement for MNCs is the ability to write.

ED/MDs are generally ranked higher than SVP. Many SVP on the IB side are already drawing 40-50k, I don't think your perception is correct. 20k is more for VP level with 7-10 years exp in BB.

Anyway I don't see how much BAT or Unilever pay their directors have anything to do with you. At most you are just applying to be a MA or some sort of fresh grad exec job. Does it matter how much they pay their Directors? Chances are you won't last long enough or get offered in the first place.

well I heard the numbers from a VP inisde there.

I am considering applying for MA there
from Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
What qualifications are MA looking for?
does my Investment Banking experience help?
I kind of think I have some experience in project managent.
But thats not enough to get into right?

Any advice on how to preapare for it?
thanks!
