Are the management associate programmes usually paid higher than analysts at the same respective banks for fresh grads?

DBS: approx 4.3k
Citi: approx 4.5k
etc

In general, banks' MA programmes offer between 4k to 5k.

yup i can ascertain that the figures above are absolutely accurate. the figures stated are all for fresh graduates with bachelor's degrees but if you have full-time working experience or did a masters, the starting pay will be adjusted accordingly.

ocbc's young bankers programme has a unique remuneration policy, they distinguish accordingly to the class of honours. second upper will get $3800 and first class $4300

and I HIGHLY DOUBT UOB's MAs are paid higher than 4.7k. UOB is not known to be a good pay master and for them to pay more than DBS and Citi, well, that's practically impossible.

I did my digital interview for UOB MA 3 weeks ago, but received no update yet.

Anyone contacted by UOB already?

MA Programme

Yea I did my video interview in October and today is 18 Nov still no email. I'm starting to think they won't contact us unless we are shortlisted, that's how the email was phrased anyway.

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie for this forum. May someone kindly tell me how I can post a new thread? Is there any precondition to do that, like membership tenure or grade? Thanks in advance.

Unregistered 19-11-2015 02:28 PM

Just received an invitation to the Career Forum and the Assessment Centre in December today.

Gone case, I still never receive any call from UOB.....grad and can't land any job, need to start repaying tuition fee loan in 1 months time.

No money to repay = bankruptcy
Bankruptcy = shut out of most job opportunities

.....feel like killing myself now.

Did they contact you by phone call or email? I have a missed call today and I wonder if it's from them.

Phone first, then followed by email confirmation of interview time and date.

Unregistered 23-11-2015 08:39 PM

Nope, no information on the assessment centre - haven't received any emails yet.

Unregistered 27-11-2015 10:27 AM

I doubt it when Citi is still at 4.5k. UOB has never been a good paymaster, and there isn't a need when DBS and OCBC are paying about 4k+.

Anyone can post cock on this forum. So just filter out the nonsense.

Nonsense because every bloody bank is firing people right now! And yet some nuts claim that UOB is going to raise fresh grad pay to above 5k?

Try harder!

Hi, actually it doesn't matter you are normal hire or MA.

You will be treated equally when you eventually switch to foreign banks like JP, GS etc.

Hope this helps.

Unregistered 07-12-2015 10:37 PM

heard that UOB AC is this week! anyone knows how is it like? any tips?

Unregistered 08-12-2015 01:31 PM

I check with one of the UOB VP for HR and she told me for MA doing compliance the average bonus in the past is ~6 months. Quite disappointed honestly considering their monthly salary is very low. Anyone knows in UOB for high performers will the bonus be much higher than average?
