What about the 2020 MAs who start at 4.5.

6k now? 2 years into the job

Thanks for the clarification but just asking because other banks pay different divisions differently, you don't have to be rude.

Not sure, but looking on LinkedIn, many MAs leave halfway through rotations. I guess it's because of the low pay and local bank don't really give much prospects if you're someone who really want to get a good finance job.

Unregistered 18-01-2022 01:05 AM

at least uob offers a permanent position after rotations. heard standchart doesn't and if u dont have a team that wants u after rotation ends, ure jobless again.

I received the offer and they told me it was 4.6k not 5.2k which was answered in this forum discussion. Can anyone verify this?

Not too bad lah, decent pay but no prestige lor except when comparing with your lower SES friends

Unregistered 20-01-2022 11:43 AM

there is more to life than just pay and prestige guys. Even in ops, 10 years later the pay also will be atleast 5 digit salary, can live a comfortable life while still having work life balance. Easy to feel small when you keep comparing to your front office bb friends now but as time goes by, you will realize pay and prestige don't matter nearly as much.

Unless you are someone that really needs to get the most prestigious jobs and have the highest pay amongst your friends to feel validated in life. But if not, then chill out man, life is still going to be good for you lol
