Is anybody applying to the OCBC Postgrad Management Programme ?

I have applied to this programme this week and was wondering if others have done the same.

What was the typical salary range for the post grad MA program?

I've read on this forum that the monthly pay is around 7k.

I received the email stating SHL emails will be sent to me by 31st July but I have not received them. Anyone got the emails from SHL already? TIA!

Anyone knows when HR will contact successful applicants for an interview?

I applied on 25th of July, did the test on 26th, deadline was supposed to be on 26th. Haven't heard anything since. Anyone got a good news yet?

Same for me, did the test on the 2nd but havent heard from them since that.

For those ppl received online testing invitation, are u guys MBA background? I submitted application on Aug 4, have not received any online test invitation... did I fail in CV screening stage?

Not for me... got a Msc.

Just wait a few more days and let us know if you receive an invitation for the tests.

I am MSc from NTU have 6 years of experience including 1 year in bank technology operations. what are the chances i will get an invite for online test.

What field is your MSc in, and your 5 years of non banking experience?

Seemed that OCBC Postgraduate MAP has relatively high entrance standard to attend online testing, or they look for Tier one and Tier two bank professional who would like to explore career in local banks? I heard that foreign bank got quite high pressure and OCBC nearly does not cut off staff.... is it right?

Not all foreign banks have high pressure. Japanese banks, Middle Eastern banks, Korean banks all are rather relaxed compared to ang mo foreign banks or even local banks. Usually knock-off almost on the dot.

I wanna ask the same question? Anyone?

in JOBSDB portal postgraduate MAP FAQ section, it indicates that when the candidate come to assessment center stage, OCBC will cover your flight and accommodation, it is likely will be held in Singapore, just my personal opinion. just ask you guys, i am also stay in oversea, and how do u attend the 1st interview? (don't know whether there is really a interview held in lonodn)

Yes indeed i have just read the FAQ (finally found it!!!) and they will cover your expenses if you live abroad.

Im also waiting for the mail, i did my tests....it was pretty tough though!!

someone got any updates from HR ?

They are supposed to give invitation to online test within 2-3 days. Beyond that it can be assumed that we are not shortlisted. Also after online test they have kept 5 days to get back to you with the results.

It also depends on which departments you applied to and if they are hiring. Banks usually open their annual application windows regardless of whether they are actually hiring or not.

You guys should sound out the HR to see if they send out official rejection emails. Some do and some don't.

How do you know about all these exact numbers? I got invite for online tests one week after the application submission.
