If you aspire to be a financial controller or even CFO in an mnc or listed company, best is to join kPMG and PWC or any of these two government AGOs. This will facilitate you to earn your CA which is likely to be a general requirement for appointment as senior financial officer post due to the flexibility of doubling up as company secretary. Remember a company secretary must either be a qualified accountant or a lawyer under the company act. Especially for local listed companies they normally do not have the budget for a legal or company secretariat functions.

So many ATOs can earn the CA... fyi these two company told the employees during their townhall in 2020 that if you dont like audit just leave.
