initially i thought big 4 progression is fast so even though 5.3k now, in 2-3 years time it will be 6-7k.

plus HR tell me that potentially got chance for pay adjustment in jul. so i signed

but then right now another company came back to me with 6k instantly.

i just worried that there are legal consequences. glad to know that there isnt

B4 hr is always selling the shyt dream, sky is the limit. Maybe 5 more years. Anw its hard, they rather outsourced to earn big $$ and kill this profession. Local no ppl want take this 5k median salary. With 4 years yoe u better off else where.

Is it true alot people rather not promoted to manager level?

I saw this lady promoted to manager straightaway resign. Another guy also resign after promoted to manager.

I talked to one audit senior, he told me even though the firm pay him $6K, he will the bear the risk at all. He said "why should I bear the risk? audit partner took be the one who bear the risk."
