Moral of the story: It's not where you start. It's where you end. Study hard in uol and strive to be the best and you have a way out.

Which VC? I must've bumped into you before at events or drinks before as the industry is so small, but don't recall such profile. There are few VC firms that pays so well.

Lol. It's true. But I just moved into sales and trading after spending 5 years in operations. No CFA, no MSc/MBA, only a UOL 2nd upper class degree.

Let me correct this for you. Lagging ppl who managed to get into s&t by 5 years. Now Google for basic statistics on how many ppl in sg are in s&t, defo not you. Lol. Once you have done that I'd advise you to avoid checking the salary structure coz it might make you more sore than you already are.

2015 ‐ Graduated from UOL A&F
2016 - Small accounting firm , 4k +
2018 - Pwc , 6k +
2019 - BOA, 9k +

Bonus included in monthly.

A lot slower then the big shots here but then is a true story.

Those from NUS NTU SMU do have it easier .

Worked my ass off for the first few years like 60 hrs work week.

would have been a good heartwarming story for the new year if he hadn't tried to go for the big names so obviously...anyone who's worked at a big 4 knows very well the pay structures of those firms and how unlikely it is someone with 3yoe is going to be hired at the grade that pays 6k+.
