1) sim-uol is not a recognized degree in civil service (different from unisim). ministries are not allowed to offer MX12 scheme to them. no such thing as "lower tier" ministry can break the rules. (wtf is a lower tier ministry anyway?)

2) ministry does not offer allowance (only claims), much less "various allowances" for program & welfare freshie job.

3) there is no such degree as "econs and mgt" in either unisim or sim-uol

Sounds like another one of those SIM fantasy stories. Until I see actual proof of profiles in actual ministries and jobs, not believing it at the moment.

The government is the biggest employer in SG, we should be able to easily get dozens of such CVs on linkedin. I did a quick search but didn't find anything.

Anyone knows of any examples?

You dun idiot can? It is obvious that there is no difference in treatment between UOL and UniSIM.

They are both recognised. Recognised means can hire. But desirability is another thing. In which case they are both equal.

Only ppl in Lower tier civil service insist that all civil service are the same. Only the NEA guy thinks he is equal to the MAS guy. Super kam gong... The admin service guy just ignores all of you.

I dun even want to respond to your other 2 points. Really kum gong poser.

the links are for u to find. cos we sim-uol people dont like to spoon feed. and also if you're a local grad, according to the arguments made by you guys, you're supposedly "better" in everything so show us what you're made of.

Unregistered 25-11-2015 02:26 PM

many cases of sim grads joining ministry & stat boards on linkin... just that many account is set to private so cannot see.

ok thnks guys.

noted.

recess is over. time to go back to your classes at sim.

btw, did you guys even wonder for a second, who these lecturers are?

mostly ppl who cant succeed in the corporate world.

they dont have to publish, since sim is not a uni, so they are just a bunch of jokers teaching a bunch of jokers.

wait, they dont even teach. they just write the ans to the tutorials on the board.
