“Calling bs” can only be used by people who are above a certain level of IQ. Please leh, tell me which bank prog no increment? List them down thanks.

On the contrary, let me list you those that give increment (even when you have less than 5 months of work only) for their MA prog (yes BO inclusive). All local banks, Citi, SCB, JP, GS, HSBC and I’m sure many more.

Source: friends working there and I’m in one of the MA progs (joined last year, not BO tho)

Im not in ops and Im pretty sure local banks don’t even pay their ops above 3.5k starting. You think everyone like you ops monkey? Think work in bank then money is good alr 😂

MA programme in local/foreign/BBs as well as BB direct hires can reach 5k within 1-1.5 YOE. Max, max 2.

Regardless, OP is doing sell-side and 5k is more like entry-level salary (at a no name boutique) nowadays. Which is why I’m wondering if the bonuses are good. If not, exiting would be better.

Fair argument for BB direct hires. Contract ops not so fast though, still need to get conversion first before thinking of promoting. Plus even for local bank direct ops I doubt can exceed 5k after 3 years. If lucky and get promoted maybe close to that but hard to exceed

Bottom line, if you are an avg performer from a grad program (BO/MO), you just need 1.5-2 years to hit 5k. 3 years would probably be 6k and up. BBs/Foreign banks even faster.

Direct hire/contract, if you are good performer, 5k is very doable with 3 YOE (even in a local bank)

MA prog pays 4k-5k for ops
Contract/Direct Hire varies from 3k-4k

Varies depending on which bank/role

Are you honestly that dense? You can’t infer any other way whereby you can comment on salaries from OP’s post?

Here’s a hint - be in a similar function/job. Voila.

I have deemed you too stupid and illogical to engage in a debate with. Keep talking to yourself with illogical statements, ops monkey.
