Hi guys/lambo..11yrs work experience here drawing 8k..got chance of getting lecturer job? what kinda pay can i expect? is it only contract-based, or will convert to permanent after inital contract?

of course sure can get the job. but don't expect can match 8k for starting lecturer lor unless your skill is like one of a kind type.
normally 2 or 3 year contract first, then subject to review and most will get convert to tenure ie perm job. unless you're a massive screw up highly unlikely u won't be offered perm eventually

thats it. pretty simple . so yes, HR should respond in timely fashion.

take note that "timely" can be quite diff depending on organisation, and depts too
