I don't think so. Most likely to be perpetual 3 years contract renewal.

HR told me rail is always in need of people and got good chance of perm conversion after a certain duration. Should I take it at face value or get clarification

Hand pick > scholar

Just curious, but how is hand pick employees by their DD/D better? Because I understand that, in order for your CEP to be high or on fast track, you would need to be a scholar. And even a scholar is not favoured, they can still get promoted and get good PB grades. Whereas hand pick employee is just having good perf grade right?

A scholar that is not favoured will not get promoted past a certain level. The end point of an unfavourable scholar will be lower than a favoured peasent.

Of course it is. Common sense. As a RO, why would u want to push someone up that could one day overtake u?

Push him down and force him out. That's the way u retain your spot as king.

Unregistered 04-10-2023 12:50 AM

A few scholars I know who performed well, but cannot wayang as well as the peasants, are all now in MOT. So proof is in the pudding that scholars will eventually still do well. But not in LTA

Unregistered 05-10-2023 12:16 AM

any salary review for LTA staffs? haha

As a good manager, u would want to see your team succeed. If they are doing well, why dont give credits when due

This ideal scenario does not exist in LTA. Might not even exist anywhere in the govt sector. Don't believe, go in and have a look yourself. It's a dog eat dog World out there and it's every man for himself.

Your manager can and will throw you under the bus so long as their appraisal scores won't be affected. You think they will sacrifice anything for their employees at the expense of their own bonus and promotion? Dream on.

if min 18 month then beat GT package alr leh. If GT is tier 1 and pay lower than LTA means LTA tier 1 stat board?

GT monthly salary much higher than LTA. Who in the right mind will leave GT for LTA lol

Tier 1 in salary, but tier 2/3 in terms of prestige. An average performer (29-30yo) can expect 100k annual package as an engineer

A project manager (typical 35-40yo) 130-160k annual package.

So they got the option to terminate staff if they are overstaffed.

What I know is typically contract forever. Unless u very special la...

Unregistered 22-11-2023 08:50 AM

Worked for LTA before, they have 2 or 3 years contract first. Once they see your potential, they will extend ur contract for another 3 years. But if you’re that good, they will convert contract to perm staff during the extended 3 years contract.

Unregistered 24-11-2023 07:08 AM

Anyone knows how much for end of year bonus?

Unregistered 25-11-2023 07:45 PM

When will we know how much for annual increment?

Unregistered 27-11-2023 06:27 PM
