hearsay this year promotion slots lesser.
I got 3 colleagues marked for promotion, all never get.

Appraisal only recently submitted. Promotion result not even out. Usually in June. Means you PM dont want promote your colleagues. So what if promotion slot is lesser? That is not up to PM to decide but the company HR to tally headcount for promotion. NCS PM will give 101 reasons not to promote people. So dont need bother do good performance

if can wait until june then wait lor.
if ur base pay at govt agency higher than base pay at ncs + pro rated bonus then just jump.

from what i hear, internally its out but given to managers and higher up etc

I got 1 colleague, P1 for 4 years, mark for promotion but didn't get it. So either he continue as P1 for another year or find new job

luckily he was informed of this and is making preparations

won't be surprised at another wave of resignations in June, which is probably what NCS wants since AI makes it easier to replace with fresh grads

After all, this new CEO want to show good Profit & Loss statements and the easiest way is by cutting labor

Damn sad. I also same boat. My PM and SDM told me want to push me for promotion then no suddenly quiet. This year I 5 years liao at NCS still P1.

If your PM throw you carrot, “work harder and i promote you”, but you did not get promotion, just leave sua. Dont waste ur time and effort in a company that wont appreciate employee. If never get promotion for that year, means your effort will be reset and you will have to slave for another year. Is their plan to psycho worker especially fresh graduate to slave for them. Worst thing is your PM get promoted and you did not. They have dealing with senior management like “i deliver this project on xxx, i get promotion to PD”. People just use one another

If I am not wrong, you must be in service on the bonus payout time which is end June.

It's ok relative to other newer P3s (6.2k ish).
But remember that it's 13 month and bonus folded in, so compare total comp when looking elsewhere.

The email with the bonus details will say something like must not have tendered resignation on or before XX June 2026. Then you +1 day to that date and that’s the earliest you can resign. Note that if you want to retain your increment you must resign after 1 July or something like that, can’t remember exact date but it’s a few days after.

What would be considered good in terms of magnitude? Anyway, this is the first bonus under the new CEO hopefully, it’s all uncertain
