Do not let the HR snook you , they will tell you contract is no different from permanent establish with same benefits and likely after contract you will be converted to permanent . There is no such guaranty , even if the HR promise you the sky. In the government instruction bible, it is stipulated that contracts should have end of contract bonuses . that is if you complete the contract you get a lump sum at the end. This is to compensate for the uncertainty in the job. Good luck to you if you let the agency HR pull wool over your eyes and you sign on the dotted line with your eyes open.
