I think that biomedical equipment is a good niche field..
basic pay increment is good..
in terms of ur experience versus market standard, some forumers here have quoted high (80k) for 4 years exp engineer, some have quoted lower..
i think u should go for it, sometimes pay stagnation is the problem that makes us leave (not the job).. it is a fact of life.. its just a matter of time before we take the jump.. unless ur current role has significant benefits for u to stay..
biomedical field has good competition for employers to hire engineers.. so fret not!
