Hi there, 30 yr old couple here. We also just held our wedding and completed renovations for our BTO. We spent about 40K on the wedding, and another 45K on renovations. We started off with ard 200K in savings (started saving up for big purchases 3 years ago). Fortunately, we managed to cover the wedding cost with the blessings received, and paid some of the household items in instalments. Plus we are still working at the same time, hence our finances didn't hurt. As of now, our savings have not dipped and still at 200K after our honeymoon.
