I did not join public sector as I know I will not stand a chance against good degree holders
I joined a SME engineering consultancy firm with low starting pay.
Fast forward to now (6 plus years) am already a manager in a MNC (engineering related) getting close to 120k per annum
My advice is to try your luck in private companies. You might have good reward if you work hard.
