Not sure about the criteria for the approved courses. But anyone can register as an instructor on Udemy, the courses may not be as good as they sound. If there are other institutions providing similar courses, I would not go for Udemy.

That being said, it is very easy to find coupons for Udemy online, so the final course price may be super low.
