from what i know, there isn't really any inflated titles in ITE but of course, my own views.

in the education side -

technical officers, lecturers, senior lecturers, master lecturers.

education management side -
section head, course manager, senior course manager, deputy director, director, senior director, deputy principal and principal.

no fanciful midway titles like executive directors, senior vice president, etc. etc. of course that is not to say that there won't be such titles in the future.
Depends on what is meant by inflated titles. Technically it is not wrong to call ITE teachers Lecturer or Senior Lecturer as their job is to lecture the students after all.

However this term does convey an impression of someone with high academic achievements, specialist in their own professional fields who are dealing with high level tertiary students or experienced post graduates. In that sense it doesn’t fit most ITE lecturers who are generally diploma, private uni degree or vocational cert holders teaching blue collar skills and being paid more like junior level white collar executives.

It’s like the misuse of terms like management consultant, financial advisor or specialist. Even though literally they might be accurate, but the accompanied connotations (especially with layman) are somewhat a mismatch and are clearly stated with the intention to make the job sound far more heavy weight than it really is.
