Singapore Customs is under the Ministry of Finance. It is not a stat board. It is an agency under MOF. The hierarchy is comparable to how home team departments like SPF and SCDF is under the parent Ministry of Home Affairs. |
Customs was never part of SIR. They are 2 different entity. In 2003, the checkpoints function of customs merged with SIR to form the current ICA.
