What an interesting twist to introduce to the argument.

This was not a question of correctness. It is about using the appropriate lingo in the right context and medium (in this case, this forum) to convey a message with impact.

It is ok to admit your ignorance of web lingos and no one will hold it against you. No one can claim to be an expert on it as new phrases and "slang" are introduced every now and then. Some of these new phrases and internet slang will catch on while others will fade away if they are silly or "not local".

The slang "gahmen" apparently have become quite entrenched in local forums as it allowed forummers to both refer to the law makers obliquely and at the same poked fun at them. As you can see, even gahmen agencies have tried using it to connect with forummers but unfortunately, with rather disastrous outcome.

So, don't try and hide your ignorance by throwing in non related argument about correctness. No worries, we are all learning from each other.
