Not having sufficient funds for retirement is indeed becoming an increasingly prevalent trend in today's society, with rising costs of living / inflation amongst the many factors. It is as such that we see the government placing more and more emphasis on areas such as
CPF.
However, it is a reality even with
CPF, it still may not be enough. Retirement nowadays require a sound financial plan to ensure that we do not face longevity risk. I do think that there is therefore a place for retirement savings plans / annuities which not only help us to save in a disciplined manner, but also grow these savings.
