Hi all,
I have a second upper class honours degree from
NUS, but I am considering taking a second bachelors degree part-time at Unisim while working a full-time job, reason being that I don't enjoy working in my current industry and I want to switch careers.
It's kind of an unspoken rule, I believe, that Unisim grads tend to lose out to
NUS/
NTU/
SMU grads when it comes to getting job interviews for government jobs.
My question is, since I already have a 'good honours'
NUS degree, will I have trouble applying for jobs in my new career area if I study for my second degree at Unisim?
For example: My
NUS second upper hons degree is in engineering, but now I study mass comm at Unisim...and I apply for comms jobs in the civil service...got chance to even get interview or not?
