Not easy to live on 2.4K a month in SG. You are filial to give 20% of your salary to your parents.
Many years ago I started at 2.5K.
CPF takes some and I gave 500 to my parents, but it was not comfortable for me. Now I earn much more and I give more but it feels alright these days.
