MOE had announced they cutting down on recruitment quite substantially saying that they have the required number of teachers. From now on, I think they only taking in those on their scholarships.
So, unless the
NIE grads are all sponsored by
MOE, not sure all grads will be absorbed into the teaching service.
This is contrary to your observation below.
