Based at both our stores and support centre, the Starbucks internship is designed to provide a robust and meaningful experience that includes high impact, business-relevant projects with well-defined goals and deliverables. You’ll have access to professional development and mentorship, leadership exposure, and Starbucks support centre’s immersion activities.

Job Description:

Phase 1 - Business Operations (60-70% of total course hours)
Like everyone in Starbucks, you will be initiated into Starbucks as a barista. You will learn
- The coffee knowledge and the necessary bar skills.
- The customer service skills.
- The advance selling skills and all the new marketing promotions events.
- The food safety and food handling.
You will be attending the training or workshop provided from Starbucks, such as food and hygiene certification, coffee master certification, barista certification. It is a fun and inspirational way for interns to demonstrate what they learned from Starbucks.


Phase 2 - Business Support (30% of total course hours)
After experiencing the front end service delivery, you will move to the support centre to hone your skills further in one of the support teams - Operations Services, Marketing and Category, IT & Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Store Development, Learning and Development and Admin.

Phase 3 – Give Back (10% of total course hours)
You must be bursting with ideas now as you come to the end of your internships. We would like to hear from you how Starbucks can continue its robust growth and excellent food and service experience. Pool your ideas with other interns and propose new innovations, new processes, and even new food varieties!
