it is true that this kind of arrangements may be common or that its reasonable to make up an extra hour here and there...it really depends on your company's policy.

but the point is, such considerations should not be brought up in an interview and is apt to bring into question your drive and commitment as an employee; unless you're some kinda star performer and was headhunted by the company which is desperate to hire you, i don't think you'll want to be placed in such a position to have your commitment questioned.

if you're talking about something like childcare arrangements, there may be greater weight to make your case but even then most people will be hesitant to mention it
