not that you are wrong.

i was just thinking that the experience of some could help others evaluate their situation early and reflect whether they need to rethink their career path.

about two years ago when i interviewed for one of the MSO roles, i met this lady who is in her mid 30s and married with two kids, dip holder in a semi-govt stat board for over 10 years as well and salary was about 3K or more also.

i guess all these reasons made it hard for her to move, despite wanting very much to leave and going for interviews every now and then. she is still there today the last i asked.

hope to encourage those who are younger to not be afraid to step out of their comfort zone, whether it is to seek opportunities in a more challenging environment. or to take a useful part time degree. the world is your oyster!

otherwise, once you are older and especially after you start a family and have more commitments, for most people, it will be very hard for them to leave.
