I'm a Malaysian who intends to work in Singapore upon completing my education. I am currently pursuing Masters by Research (Pharmacology) in an Australian university. Area of interest is cancer (a.k.a. oncology) therapeutics.
What are the job opportunities like in the pharmaceutical/biotech companies compared to academia? In terms of salary, prospects and lifestyle.
I worked briefly as a research assistant in
NUS and my salary is <$3000/mth. Is this the norm?
