My contribution to my family expenses is $500 a month.

Amt saved every month: $1.4K - $1.5K (try to, at the minimum)
Monthly expenses: around $500

I am trying to cut down my expenses to $400 or less but is difficult, especially when I go out with spendthrift friends....
