Queries on Public Sector 2013
Wanted to start a thread on public sector for people to post any questions related to postings, salary, career progression, scholarships, and working culture etc.
Let me start off with a question:Is there still the HiPo programme in the civil service? Last I heard it's already scrapped off. Anyone who knows if this is true or just a rumour? If it's true, are there any equivalent programmes still available?
For those who are currently on the HiPo programme, did you raised the possibility of being nominated for it with your RO, or are they the one to talk to you about it instead? I understand that it is based on nominations, but still want to know if there's any pros and cons in being pro-active.
