Well, if you grad from NYP, you will have a better chance of getting into SIT-Digipen. With a one-year dip, I doubt SIT will take you in. If you think about it, a diploma might not be good enough to break into the game design industry, a degree would be much better. Both NYP and FZD grads are nothing compared to Digipen grads.

Regardless, there is no 'industry' to speak of here in singapore. The last good game design company lucasarts closed up their base in singapore. You would be hard pressed to find a job in game design here. But an NYP grad would still have the upper hand I believe, just for the fact that he can get into SIT-Digipen and further his skills and qualifications.
