Worst thing is even for those who want to become HOD, they always take up the 'acting' HOD post first for 1-2 years. Do HOD job but take normal pay after that then get promoted to HOD. Worst sometimes within the 1-2 years they are 'acting HOD' their HOD mentor leave or principal change and management let someone else be HOD then all the acting HOD time all go down the toilet liao.
