The medtech industry do not usually take in life science undergrads as well. Have been applying to some of these companies.

R&D will require a Phd and more often R&D are not done in Singapore. As for production wise, they usually take in bioengineering/chemical engineering undergrads who have knowledge of biological/pharmaceutical and engineering principles.

Most of my friends went to astar/Biopolis/NUS/NTU as a research officer after completing their life science degree.
