A) medical indemnity
- why does fm has a relatively low cost for medical indemnity compared to other specialities (e.g surgery, o&g etc). Given that the medicolegal burden in FM seems high, like most people who get into trouble with smc and get suspended seems to be gps? (Specialists may get complaints, but very few get suspended)
B) for fm practice, which is the safest place of practice from a medicolegal point of view? Private gps seems to be the most precarious, was wondering if inpatient setting like community hospital will be safer? (I.e lower chance to get sued)

There is a significantly larger GP population than specialist population, and mistakes tend to be less severe compared to specialists, so the numbers might seem skewed.
