I can attest to the 11pm one. It's mainly because my team is extremely small but we have to cover other countries as well since we're the regional HQ, and then we have to audit the reporting packs because the accounting teams are terrible, and the different departments are so incompetent that whatever budget they submit to us are always wrong so we have to spend a lot of time correcting them. Fortunately at my level I don't have to join the calls with our US HQ but my manager does so she has to work until much later than I do. I'm contemplating a career change to internal audit or credit analyst because I feel that the WLB is as bad as Mar-Apr audit peak for subsidiaries.

If anyone here is also in FP&A, please give me some hope that FP&A depts with minimal overtime exists and are not ridiculously difficult to enter so that I don't have to do a complete career change for WLB.
