No the doctor didn't have to risk anything. All individuals, including educators, possess the entitlement to utilize sick leave as necessary, irrespective of the veracity of their ailment. Such speculations regarding the authenticity of illnesses or alleged financial inducements to medical professionals are unwarranted as it mainly undermine the foundation of trust within the workplace. Plus to evaluate or judge an individual's efficacy based on their medical absences is purely unjust. Performance assessments should be predicated on job duties and accomplishments, rather than health-related factors. Cultivating an environment that embraces and supports the health requirements of colleagues is paramount in nurturing a workplace culture that values well-being. However, our
MOE schools, SLs, KPs and teachers mindsets are way far from that culture.
