Despite getting C+ and B back in 2022 and 2023, I am still a GEO 2 and yet to be getting GEO 3. despite talking to my P and ROs, their answers are simple copy and paste answers from HR. Not sure if GEO 3 is a given for NS men, but that darn C- really crucified me la. okay, i admit that i liked to question some redundant stuff the department are doing maybe that is why they can't give me D and give me a C-.

I may be geo 2 but i am already doing work equivalent of a GEO 4. Student leadership comm, staff welfare, peer mentoring and PLT leader at GEO 2. when people tell me all the nonsense that your performance grade does not define you, please la i am not a young kid.
sorry to hear about your plight. unfortunately such stories are not uncommon. even though mr 'nice HOD' keep on insisting he's nvr seen a D or rarely sees a C-, his school is an anomaly. nowadays, if you're not a 'yes man' or apple polisher, you'll find yourself in the lower rungs. worst is if you start to critically question dubious or outdated SOPs. by and large, the middle managers and KPs are too comfortable in their positions and will resist any changes, even if students are shortchanged. some even feel threatened by new teachers who bring in fresh ideas, although the cunning and manipulative ones will attempt to take credit for new ideas and initiatives despite having little inputs.

so it's no surprise that MOE has mandated that HODs cannot stay more than 8 years in a school. this shld be made applicable for those aged 55 years, as they're the biggest paper weight around.

let me guess, the name of your sch matches the name of the estate its in?
