If a fresh grad in a non-specialised role can potentially draw 5k+, will fresh grads in law / MFA / intel / MTI be drawing upwards of 6k (assuming a 20% premium)?

Most fresh grads in Ministries are on the MX scheme, which pays around 4.5k for males with FCH now. Under the MX scheme, there's a slight premium of about $100-200 for the more important ministries like
MTI, compared with MSF etc. Some of these ministries also have specialist schemes for the high-potential officers (for e.g.,
MTI officers who do well can convert to the Trade Specialist scheme after a few years).
The range for specialised roles is naturally much broader. The MFA FSO scheme pays almost 6k these days to male fresh grads, from what I heard.
