Dun be hero la.
In ops setting u dun get rewarded one.

Like me, your aim on reaching clinic should be to

A. Get out as early as possible
B. Have as long a lunch break as possible
C. Don't be frazzled by patient as much as possible.

Your frustration is echoed by generations of FPs
Nothing is truly acute.
If got multiple acute issue, refer to a&e
U go tackle her 8 unsettled long term problem from insomnia to numbness to giddiness to chest pain to tummy pain, no one will give u a medal.

Stick to what u know best
Ops chronics
Simple acute condition

Anything more I just say you too complex for me.
I don't think it's fair if I manage you becuase I cannot take care of you well.
In your best interest I suggest u receive inpatient care
Shall I refer you?
Don't want?
Then u have to accept that I can only handle what I know and that is just your diabetes
Paiseh la, I just a simple doctor, thats why I work in polyclinic
If I'm good I become specialist liao. Paiseh paiseh.

Pple don't like conceited doctor but they can become very accommodating when u say you dunno
It work many many times for me
This.

Here is Singapore. You MMed or FCFP at most still FP only. Not on SAB. Patients expect non-specialist care from you.
