Hi,
I think it is important to differentiate between Estate Management (Managing Agent or "Operations") and Property Development (Leasing, Marketing, Development)
With this in mind, what you have mentioned is very much on Estate Management, which is totally a different field from Property / Real Estate Development, and I doubt the transition is going to be easy.
if your long term goal is to go into Property Development, then why spend 4-5 years for a UniSIM (Bsc Facilities and Events Management)?
Your end state (Highest Target Academically) may be this? Then work backwards to meet the entry requirements.
Welcome to Department of Real Estate
But you should also be realistic, and focus on getting the first degree. To be frank, in the field of facilities management, if you're a local Singaporean and have a degree, should be pretty smooth sailing, be it UniSIM or Foreign Uni.
Personally, I will not advise any friend to take 4 - 5 years for a Bsc Facilities and Events Management as Facilities and Events Management jobs require a general degree, and specialization is currently not highly sought after or valued.
You mentioned an important trait which is you are willing to work hard. I think that solves alot of problem.
What you need is lots of career Good Luck!
