Leave as Manager you got better odds of getting FM role. BUT you will run into the problem some companies cannot or refuse to match your last drawn cause you no commercial experience, dun even know how to use SAP properly.

I would say M1 is the best time.
I left to commercial as FM from SM.
Took slight paycut.
Dont worry, GLC will be able audit manager as their FBP( of course, the job also tough)
