They said a doctor won’t starve.
After attending these talks I finally understand the profound meaning.
I guess it depends how you look at these lunches. Is it work? Or enjoyment?
Weekend also burn.
Some work Sat morning also right? or even sat and sun.
Life as a GP is hard. Long hours per day. Almost everyday per week. Unless you salaried with group , the annual leave is little or none. Healthcare benefits? Again poor to none.

Hard life. Plus in private you have to account for P/L.

Those positions involving starting a new clinic very unstable. If you don't get P then you are gone.

Taking over from a lau jiao GP also not simple. Firstly that GP went somewhere else or not? The patients can go follow one. If contract maybe they will stay. But they are used to that GP style. Trust me it is not "standard" one. Nor is it purely follow CPGs one.

You can or not? People talk like so easy.

OPS is standard. Follow the CPGs no one really will fault you. But you still need to know some tricks to get patients out the door. Also play politics. If the manager and the head are good pals of yours is good for you. Show up for events. Be involved. Help out. Can build a career in OPS also. But need to play ball.
Private is really just $. They don't care about you as a person. You die they can't be bothered. No ren qing one.
