Based on my experience, after interview hiring manager immediately show positive signs and say hr will contact me. However, hr took 2 months to contact me. My colleague who interviewed 1 week before me was approached by hr 3 days after the interview.
The hiring unit is clear and insistent they wanted me, but hr is not inclined to have me onboard (due to salary and culture issues). Hence hr is trying to buy time hopefully I will drop out voluntarily by letting me wait for a long time.
