Even a strong economy like SG can only support so many lawyers, since legal industry is a quaternary sector. Meaning lawyers support the tertiary sector like finance. What more Malaysia which has a financial market in the s**tter.
The average M'sian lawyer is grossly below par. Very substandard and poorly trained and way out of depth. I have worked with some in SG registered as foreign lawyer here.

Anyone knows what is the GPA cut-off to transfer into

SMU law? Trying to transfer but the astronomical fees made me re-evaluate my decisions.
