This is different from “new employees will be given a n-year contract in the first instance” which means this is more like a probation.
The worst are 11-months contract which you won’t get any bonus at all

for my case, hr told me it’s a perm role. however i’ll be given a 1 year contract first (aka probation) before emplacement for perm role. starting my new role in july. hopefully by next year march/april hr will let me whether am i emplaced for the perm role. hais
