There's also no selection all year round, it's in Q1 and Q3 only. You can apply in the middle but that guarantees nothing, you just get pooled into Q3.

Every year there's only 2 intakes.

Jan, Feb ( Q1 batch )
July, August and Oct. ( Q2 batch )

The differing dates is because some have reservists and cannot attend mandatory alpha training in time.
